I’m still hoping they’d cast Helena Bonham Carter as a TimeLady in Doctor Who. I don’t care if she’ll be a new character or the latest regeneration of an established Gallifreyan. My personal headcanon though sees her as Romana.
So after the Master was sent back to the Time War in “The End of Time Part 2”, Romana was already waiting there for him, knowing that she had the sass to deal with the ol’ Koschei and together find a way to safe Gallifrey and themselves after all.
